Penguin Random House interview questions

Basic HR questions, but I chose to withdraw my application before continuing on past the initial round because the pay was quite low ($50,000, with room for overtime) HR interviewer was very kind and transparent about everything that they knew on their side.

Was asked to do a thorough writing assessment before speaking with anyone beforehand. They have the team look at the assessment first before pairing it with them resume before they select who they want to move forward with. Next step I had a pre interview with HR with some unexpected questions and was second guessed whenever I answered. Dragged out for 2 weeks and did not receive the position.
