I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at RELX (New York, NY)
Interview
Interview with recruiter, two phone interviews, one in person interview. 2 phone interviews with another where he didn't show up. Third time he showed up for phone interview but no apology for bailing on other two. and was a more difficult one but fine although any question about the firm returned pretty vague answers. I was probably as unimpressed with his/her answers to mine as perhaps he/she was with mine. No call back. Spoke to recruiter and had an excuse why no call back. Never heard anything after that. After three phone interviews, two in person interviews, and two missed calls you'd think you would get the courtesy of a call back either way. A little unprofessional, and indicative of the vibe I got about what it would be like to work there.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at RELX (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Aug 2014

Important to be prepared for the role that you have applied for, bring some live examples to the table to create a better improession.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at RELX (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2016
Interview
This is the first round.
40 minutes, 2 sessions, 1st: 20 minutes for 2 coding questions; 2st: 20 minutes talked with 2 developers about coding questions and some programming questions; The coding questions are really simple but there's no compiler for you, you basically just code on notepad. It's ok if you don't get 100% correct, just show them you actually know exactly how does it work.
