I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Revolut
Interview
Unprofessional kid with 1 year of experience interviewing for roles that require many years of experience. I asked a few questions about the company and was given answers that showed the interviewer didnt understand my question, or gave vague answers that showed the person had no knowledge in the tech or financial services industry. Interviewer spoke in a monotone robotic voice, I could have just been interviewed by a bot. Suffice to say, I lost interest in the company seeing that this was the face of the company in a country they have been trying to launch for 2 years and have failed thus far.
HR emails were also inconsistent.
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Revolut
Interview
1. In-house Recruiter (then this person got fired?!)
2. Home task
3. Hangout with one management
4. Hangout/f2f with management
The whole process and experience is terrible. Recruiters either not responding in time and actually disappeared.
Some hiring manager is extremely rude, late to call and no sorry and gave you an attitude that he doesn’t want to be there or just to show you he is better than you.
Some questions hinted they expect you to work long hours and over weekend. They should just post it as a role requirement so don’t waste people’s time. But I don’t believe over work your team is going to work, so backward thinking.
World is big and candidates can always have better choice. Let’s not encourage this type of company.
Interviewer was late to the interview and made no apologies for being late. Rushed through the interview process and took to pretty much yelling "pass/fail" after each question they asked. Seems that Revolut has mistaken being rude for being direct. Dropped out a couple of stages in as I didn't think it was a good cultural fit..
