I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Revolut in Jan 2024
Interview
I was contacted via Linkedin. First I had an interview with HR, they were a little bit late to the call but it was ok, I liked that they were pretty clear explaining the next steps.
Second interview was a live code interview. Folk was nice and talkative, but expectations were not clear enough of what they wanted from me. The resources shared with me talked about being fast and building a tested software but in the end I got rejected for not knowing by heart the algorithm performance of a Set.
To be as fair as I can, I'll keep my opinion of how important that is to a software engineer to know those things by heart to myself. You can judge yourself.

Interview
The interview questions were not the typical DSA questions. Instead, they focused mainly on Java concurrency, databases, ACID, and related topics. Overall, the questions were quite easy, especially if you are confident with concurrency.
However, what I disliked the most was the HR representative who was supposed to give me feedback after the interview just disappeared. HR should be the face of the company, but unfortunately, that was not the case here. It shows how poorly they treat people. Many employees have complained about how they have been treated, and this experience with HR only reinforced their complaints.
In summary, this was the worst HR experience I have ever had.
I had the interview with the hr and she was in a rush, asking questions very fast and difficult to understand, and probably doens't catch the idea if you are talking about something because she only know the exact answer and ignore the similar ones. A lot of database related questions while they are not looking for a dba
