I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Roland Berger (Sjanghai, Sjanghai) in Mar 2009
Interview
It was mostly a fit interview as I was referred, and some technical questions about the cases I've done because I've worked as a consultant before. Then there was a hypothetical case question, nothing too hard. There were questions about if I'd be all right with living in a foreign country (I'm studying in the States and this internship was in China) and if I'd be okay speaking a foreign language (Mandarin). The interviewer was a senior consultant, who I ended up working under that summer, and she was very nice and for the case, she would help guide you along too if you start going off track.
I'm not sure about the usual interview process, but mine was a phone interview because of my school's location and the location of the office that I applied for.
1. Screening des CV
2. Test en ligne qu'il faut bien préparer car beaucoup le ratent
3. Premier Case Interview en ligne
4. Deux autres Case Interviews en présentiel dont un Partner
Two rounds. First round was one interview, half behavioral and half case. Second round was two interviews (half behavioral and half case) back to back. First round case was an estimation.
I applied online. I interviewed at Roland Berger in Jun 2025
Interview
the interviewer was great, it consisted of behaviorals and a case component. It was relatively short and had only one interviewer, The interview started off with behavioral for fifteen minutes and moved on to a more market sizing centered case.
