Interview
I applied for a position with SAP Qatar, I got a call back which I was not able to answer due to being in a meeting also got an email from their HR asking when is the best time to schedule a call,
I replied with 3 emails and tried to call them back Twice and was not able to reach them nor get a reply back, Finally to get an automated email stating that I was rejected even without going through the process!!
Very very Unprofessional and poor way of handling prospects.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SAP (Chicago, IL) in Nov 2013
Interview
LinkedIn, followed by a recruiter call, followed by call with hiring manager. From there and in person meeting with the manager was scheduled - met at a coffee shop. Then 3 calls were scheduled with executives: 1. Marketing Executive, 2. Market Unit COO, 3. Market Unit SVP and GM. From there we had a follow up call with the hiring manager and agreed to proceed with an offer letter. They were adamant the offer letter be signed within 24/48 hours (I can't recall exactly). HR also made me complete some personality questionaires, etc. The team was pushy around the start date, but in the end were flexible.
