I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at SAP (Walldorf, Baden-Wurttemberg)
Interview

Question 1
Was unterscheidet Hana von anderen Datenbanken.?
Was ist der Vorteil von Column-Store Datenbanken?
The interview was a technical interview (ML and coding), supposedly to assess my ability to learn new concepts and apply them. I was interviewed by two people at the office.
One of them, from the very start, was condescending and rude. To begin, he repeatedly picked out flaws in my previous research projects (I am not sure how this is relevant to assessing an interviewee!), which didn't even make any sense: he clearly had not actually understood what my projects were about. He then asked me some technical questions in ML and coding. The questions weren't well worded or clear. He disagreed with my approaches, but made no effort to actually guide me in the right direction. It felt as though he was trying to find out how many things I DIDN'T know, rather than what I did. I felt quite humiliated by the end. By the end of the interview, I realized that he hadn't even taken the time to read my resume, because he didn't even know what I am currently studying at university.
Someone else had written a review on "Machine Learning Developer Interview" on Jan 10 2018. I am certain that we had the same interviewer! Overall, I had a very negative experience, and felt thoroughly humiliated by the end. This is not how interviews should be conducted. If you decide early on that the candidate is not suitable, then just tell them to leave, instead of deriding them and trying your best to make a fool out of them!

First they check CV only and then make a phone interview with some basic questions about your life(visa, permit, some thing about SAP) after that is one on one interview.
