STMicroelectronics Internship interview questions

I applied for a HR internship and the first question I was asked was a about the economics of the company in the past year which I thought was quite an unnecessary first question. Other questions were related to how I have worked with big managers in the past which I also thought was a bad question as I am an intern at University so most students wont have worked with big managers yet. Other questions were fairly generic. I did get a chance to ask my own questions to the intern there already which was much more pleasant than my interview with the manager.
