Saint-Gobain interview questions

The MD of Saint Gobain India, B Santhanam asked me about my political opinions and forced me to not be neutral. The selection was pathetic and biased towards the selection of Tamil candidates.

Nothing too stand out from other interviews. They reached out to me. Spoke with their HR who used a crazy amount of metaphors (sometimes three in one sentence). Made it to the next round. Talked to head of marketing. Asked a lot of top 5 questions. And what marketing I think is effective. I asked why they were hiring for the role and the marketing lead said “I just got here six months ago. It was open before that” or something like that. It made me think she thinks marketing can do what UX does. Three weeks later got an auto generated form email about not getting the role. Impersonal and nothing special. This role has been open for a while. My guess is you’ll do marketing and UX. The job description mentioned JavaScript so maybe even some hand coding. If you are a marketer who knows some UX you are probably a good candidate. Only have a bad review because of the form letter. After reaching out to me. A bit rude!
