I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Salesforce in Aug 2010
Interview
Phone call with recruiter to determine qualifications.
In person meeting with two managers.
They determined that the sale was more "transactional" and that my experience was more "relationship" oriented.
I agree, it wasn't a good fit. They followed up with a call to share that news.
Interestingly, they are still looking 6 months later...it doesn't seem like they hired anyone.
Seems to me they could have saved me a trip and themselves some time. My resume clearly showed I was not a transactional sales person.
Recruiter missed multiple interviews only to tell me they have no positions only.
6 months later I receive an interview invite with pay $20k lower than originally discussed
Manager arrives late to the interview then cuts the time early. Company seems disorganized and difficult to take seriously as a so called leader in SaaS.

Apply via Workday, initial recruiter screening via phone call, 1:1 manager interview and introduction, then panel presentation with role play. You'll need to build and present a deck in the final stages.

Question 1
Walk me through a deal example and how you won the opportunity.
pretty easy interview. Had to do a case. It felt like it was just a formality and they put me up to it to fit into their standard processes. Not the best experience but it is what it is
