Salesforce does it a little different. Initial call with recruiter. Then strangely another short call with a different recruiter. After which the next step was a multi-interview round with what was supposed to be 3 consequent interviews with 3 different hiring managers from different teams, except in my case the first interviewer didn't show up so it was only two :(. Other than that flub on their part in my case, I think I like this process as it gives you more at bats with different hiring managers and technically more chances to hit it off with one of them and be pushed forward to interview for their team. Got pushed to the final stage with one of the hiring managers which wasn't a mock call like a lot of companies do but has you do a presentation that includes your career track so far, a former successful deal, the salesforce value prop, and your territory plan. Been about two weeks now since then with no word from Salesforce so it seems like I didn't get the position. I did reach out the recruiter a couple of times for an update but there was no response :/. For comparison in couple of other top companies I got to final stages with the recruiter reached out over the phone to relay the news of them passing on my candidacy and at least a small bit of feedback from the hiring managers. Not a good look, Salesforce. Not a good look.

Question 1
What did a former manager say you could have done better on a deal you won?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (New York, NY) in Sep 2023
Interview
The interview process was straightforward and challenging enough. I enjoyed the process! I participated in a formal first-round interview with two managers. The final interview was 60 minutes and included a slide presentation that was run very much in a similar style you'd run if you were meting with a prospect/current customer.

Question 1
What is your superpower? Tell me about yourself. Walk me through a deal you closed/won?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Salesforce (Dallas, TX) in Jul 2023
Interview
Fairly straightforward but difficult 4-step process. Recruiter screen, Panel interview, presentation interview, then 1-1 chat with hiring manager to wrap it up. They care a lot about the presentation and your time management. The recruiter was such a great asset throughout!
