I applied online. I interviewed at Starbucks (San Jose, CA) in Mar 2026
Interview
First interview went great. Second interview was HIGHLY unprofessional, arrived at the location and was told the interview was moved to another. Supposedly the hiring manager “couldn’t find my contact” when she probably didn’t even try looking for it. I get to the new location, and I get interviewed 40 minutes after I was scheduled only for the hiring manager to ask me two questions and nitpick every single one of my answers. She never apologized for making me jump through so many hoops only for a lousy interview. It is clear she has no regard for people’s time. I believe I dodged a bullet.
Basically a short chat about my availability, my interest in the job, why I want to work there, how familiar I am with coffee and what my past experiences in hospitality were.
After applying online they invited me for an online interview that was a group interview then the next stage would have been a one to one digital interview over zoom.

Question 1
What's a difficult customer interaction you've had?
Easiest interview I've ever had. I was only asked 3 questions, 'tell me about yourself, what are your strengths & weaknesses, what is your availability?' Lasted about 10 minutes maximum
Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback. We appreciate your input and are happy to hear that you’ve enjoyed the interview process here at Starbucks.
