I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Starbucks (Milwaukee, WI) in Jan 2011
Interview
I applied online and did the P&L test and basic math and personality tests. Which was amazing compaired to other online applications they walk you through and tell you about the company.ITS GREAT!!! then 2 days later i recieved a email and a week later a phone interview with the recruiter. We set up a time then for a 2 pannel DM meeting a week later it was read from a script but it was your basic STARS interview questions and they were so nice and funny. they helped me realize I realy want this job. Fom there it was the waiting game for the last 2 weeks now i have a one on one with a store manager today to see more about the company and to ask any questions. WISH ME LUCK!!

Question 1
Give me a time when you helped a team member exceed?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Starbucks in Nov 2010
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter within a few days of my application. A week after the first phone interview, I had a seond, more in depth phone interview with the same recruiter. About a week later I was contacted to go to a panel interview with two District Managers. This interview lasted approximately one hour. The questions were typical; "Tell me about a time..." - scenario type.
24 hours later I was notified that I was no longer being consdered for the position.
I am not sure what advice to give others in respect to the interview process. I thought this went well, I have a deep retail management background including some coffee/barista experience. I was a surprised to be rejected so quickly, and still see the position posted on the Internet now, a month later.
