I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Sterling Heights, MI) in Jul 2014
Interview
You fill out an application. There is a questionnaire on it that helps determine who you are as a person. They email you if your application was rejected and they call you if they are interested. You go through a series of phone interviews and then a series of in person interviews.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Target in May 2015
Interview
I passed a resume 1 week before I got a call from the hr. It was Monday. They asked me if I already had a job at the moment and told me my rate, my working hours and scheduled me for an interview on Wednesday. I came in a casual attire, and I went to the guest services. The person there asked me to take some test on the computer. When I finished it, she accompanied me to the TSC. There I waited for a while, then it started. First, I was interviewed by the supervisor. She asked me 5 questions like "Tell me a time when..." and then what do I know about the job. And it was done. She told me to waitfor my second interview with ETL. I waited for a while. And then the ETL called me for the interview. She asked me 5 questions like the ones that the supervisor asked me. And the ETL further explained the job. And also asked about what I studied. If I was still studying. It was fun. Because the ETL smiles a lot, I feel, like, welcomed. The ETL's really nice, I thought to myself. And then she told me that she'll ask if they could give me a job offer. And then she left. Then the HR came in, and said that "Congratulations, they really liked you and we're going to give you a job offer." I was like OMG!! I got my first job! I was really nervous that time. Then the HR further explained about the pay, the requirements etc. And that's it. I accepted it. He told me about the orientation.

Interview
Once you fill out the application someone from HR will call you to set up an interview. The first interview is done by a team leader. If the team leader likes you will HR will set up your second interview with the department manager. Interview only takes about 20 min. They will ask you about five different situational questions. Received an email three days later stating that Target currently could not offer me a position at this time with NO explanation why. The entire process can take up to two weeks. All of this seems a bit much for just a regular part time team member position. If you are needing a job now I would suggest looking for a job elsewhere.
