I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Tata Consultancy Services (Poona) in Dec 2015
Interview
Was good, was asked about most of my engineering subjects and if u can have a DGPA > 8.5 then you will directly qualify for PI round. Questions asked were relatively easy and mostly about your own background. Technical round was difficult, all subjects which I hated during my engineering days were asked. But the interviewer was friendly and made me feel comfortable as he seemed to understand that I was quite nervous.

For Freshers: The process usually starts with the TCS NQT, followed by a combined or separate Technical, Managerial, and HR interview.
For Experienced Professionals: The NQT might be bypassed, and the focus shifts more towards in-depth technical discussions, project experiences, and managerial capabilities, followed by an HR discussion.
Document Verification: Be prepared to have your academic documents, ID proof, and resume verified at various stages, especially before the in-person interview rounds.
Preparation: Strong preparation in core technical subjects, coding practice, and practicing behavioral questions is key to successfully navigating the TCS interview process.
