I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at The Home Depot in Nov 2010
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter about an opening supporting their purchasing department. I told him to go ahead and submit my resume and was notified a day later I was selected to be interviewed. I had a phone interview for an hour and it seems the interviewer was looking for someone with exact same experience.

The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Atlanta, GA) in Jun 2011
Interview
Very odd interview situation. 2 people, femaie. No structure to the interview so hard to determine how you are doing or what they are specifically looking for. There was much talk of working long hours such as 10-12 hour days and also coming in on Sunday because there was a Monday morning meeting with management to explain HD ads vs. competitors. The position sounded like dept was understaffed and just trying to make things work. Seemed like this might be a position people to take to get in the door and then move to other areas of the company or out.
Office is pretty standard, cubicle type environment. Culture seems to be very blackberry centered and everything needs to be done now without a clear path to success.
