I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot in Jan 2012
Interview
I applied online and got an automated call the next day arranging a phone interview for 2 days later. The Assistant manager called me three days later and set up a drug screen for that day. I waited 7 days to get the results back and then was called in for a 1 on 1 interview with the Manager. He asked me about my customer service experience and offered me the job.

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Cincinnati, OH) in Aug 2010
Interview
The interviewing process was slightly annoying being that you have to take a pre-screening phone interview that just reviews everything you put on your application. Once you make it to the one on one it is very relaxed and easy. It mainly consists of talking about your history in retail and what hours you would like to work.

Interview
Interview process was fairly straight forward. Had a pre-screen phone interview from a corporate office with answers provided to the hiring manager. Second interview was in person with HR rep and one of the store managers.
