It was very smooth and easy, very friendly. There were 3 rounds, first was HR, then hiring manager, and then with the team I would work with. They all had similar questions, and a very positive attitude.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Work culture, how you work in a team and stuff like that
Basic and simple. Polite and congenial. Took about 30 minutes. Panel of two people. They asked for and checked references. I enjoyed the experience but decided against working there based on their answers to my questions about schedules.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Atlanta, GA)
Interview
Interview process fairly straight forward. Screening call with recruitment, go into the office to talk STAR questions for an hour, and then an ambiguous, difficult case study. Process was fast which I liked. What I didn’t appreciate was taking off 3 hours of work just for them to not take 30 seconds to write an email saying I didn’t get it. I think that’s really inconsiderate and a major issue in the job market. Faking empathy until you decide someone doesn’t meet your criteria.
