The interview process involved one 15 minutes connect with a recruiter and 3 rounds in total -
1. First round was a technical handson round with question around pyspark
2. Second round was again a technical round with more in depth questions around apache flink and streaming pipelines
3. This round was with the head of engineering and was more of a leadership and cultural round.
In regards to data domains, it can be said that the interviewer’s focus was not on understanding them, but rather on the exact wording used to describe them. He seemed to be greatly preoccupied with the terminology associated with data domains in some text books or white papers! It was clear that the interview was not conducted fairly and it was more like a text book exam from specific sources! I had heard some good stories about the company. However, after this interview, I truly got disappointed. It was an absolute waste of time and I’m really happy not working with them.
