I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at UPS (Secaucus, NJ) in Sep 2010
Interview
Once you fill out the application, you get your interview date at the end. It's a group interview in the beginning, but it's not nerve-wracking. They show you a video, make copies of your ID and SS card, let you know beforehand what the pay is, give you a tour of the facility, interview you personally for about 5-10mins and let you know they'll call if you pass the background check.
From application to hire, I'd say it was 2wks

I honestly don't remember being stumped by any question.
I applied online. I interviewed at UPS in Dec 2013
Interview
Went on tour, was told how tough the job was, most acted like it wasn't for them. We were then told to sign up for an interview if we were still interested. The interview was easy and was told that I would get a call within a week. I never got a call and I had to call back and the guy told me that I was good to go.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at UPS (Grapevine, TX) in Feb 2009
Interview
I went through two interviews one was a tour where one of the managers followed you around and watched to see how enthusiastic you are they really liked the fact that I wanted to help someone load during the tour. The second interview was with a HR personnel standard questions nothing really difficult to answer.
