I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at UPS (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2014
Interview
I first had to do a tour of the hub then was interviewed after the tour. I was hired maybe a day or 2 later. I still work there now and its a cake job. The pay is really low starting and high seniority co-workers think they are literal gods. Its ok if you are willing to work a 2nd job to make any sort of decent living.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me if i was able to lift heavy packages regularly. I have no problems with that at all.

Interview
I applied online and was then prompted to schedule a time for a what was basically a tour. I showed up along with perhaps 6 other people. We were guided throughout the facility which only took about 20 minutes. This person doing the tour emphasized throughout that the work is very physical and all of that. At the tour's conclusion, we wrote down our names and phone numbers and that was it. No one was actually interviewed. The process didn't make much sense to me as it would have been hard for anyone to make an impression from a simple tour. I honestly probably got called up and offered the job because I had a family connection with a supervisor, who thankfully was a supervisor for the drivers at the time, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to get hired due to their rules.

Interview
Applied online. Went for the group interview. Very impersonal and casual. One woman came in pajamas. Walked around and toured the place and that was about it. Tried scaring us out of the position by saying how hard it was. It's just packages lol.
