I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at UPS (Salt Lake City, UT) in Aug 2015
Interview
3 open interviews, 1 private, I was in a room with 20 other potential employees and we were asked a number of questions and given information regarding the job and the union and the potential for a good job after 1 year. we were told that it wont be easy but in the long run it will be worth it.

Question 1
can you work very hard for very little pay for 1 year to get full time status
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at UPS in Sep 2015
Interview
Applied online and within a couple days was invited on a group tour of the facility. This was pretty much to emphasize that the job was a PT position and that the work was very physical just to make sure we knew what we were in for. Overall you are generally offered the job if you want it and it was a pleasantand easy interview process. I'm a petite girl but that did not affect the job offer, so I would say do not shy way they will offer you the job if you can handle it. An important thing to remember is that if they offer you the position and you accept and don't perform or don't show up you get labeled as a "negative re-hire" and they emphasize that once that happens you will NEVER work for UPS ever again anywhere, so make sure you can actually do the job before you make the commitment. Fortunately they give you a day to think about it.
