I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Uber (Atlanta, GA) in Jun 2016
Interview
1. Screening call from intern who sounds terrified, 2. Call with Hiring Manager who sounds terrified, 3. In person.
Note: Once I found out about the compensation plan, I quickly bowed out.
The interviewer sounded like he was 20, and was reading from a script very uncomfortably. Felt bad for him. That said; he called me 10 minutes late, and only after I dropped him a note to ask what the deal was. Was this going to be my boss??? Maybe I'd get free Ubers and some sort of iDevice?
They should do a better job screening during the initial calls - I would've declined immediately had I known the comp plan, and understood that they're looking for short term contractors with the hope to "advance to a full time position (maybe)".
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
Very robotic and easy questions "give me 3 to 5 reasons why you're the guy for this job"
