First step was a 15-20 min screening interview. The recruiter sounded very junior and straight out of college with no real world experience.
Second step was a two hour analytical test. The test has questions relating to internal Uber operations and jargon as well as Excel/analytical type questions.
Very disappointing process. I did not hear anything back after taking the test. I guess "no news" is the norm now for bad news.
Good luck Uber!

Question 1
Typical screen interview questions. Salary expectations, etc.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Uber
Interview
A recruiter emailed with me to schedule a call after I applied online.
At the time scheduled, he sent me an email saying he couldn't reach me on my phone number (that he included minus the "+" needed to call abroad). He's apparently incapable of typing a country code even though I clearly included my number with it. After a few back and forth email to find an alternative such as online conferencing, he simply stopped answering my emails and never got back to me!
By far the worst and most scandalous hiring process I've ever been through. Uber still has a lot to do to improve its culture.

Question 1
"How to call a foreign phone number?". I wish the recruiter knew the answer to that question.
I applied online. I interviewed at Uber (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2019
Interview
Recruiter from Uber emails me asking to schedule a 20 minute call for the Product Operations Manager role. The phone call was a pretty regular screening call. After which i was told there would be a formal assessment - Uber Analytics Test. I was also informed that i don't need to prepare for it & it would be mainly product related questions. I emailed the recruited a couple days later wanting to confirm if I there was anything i could do to prepare for the test, I waited for a few days for him to respond, but because i didnt hear back - i took the test (quite unprepared & not knowing the exact nature of questions to expect).
The test turned out to very heavy on advanced excel & uber operations. Although i have been in product for the last few years, we dont use advanced excel & wish i was informed.
I wrote back to the recruiter about this and all he said was that he was sorry for the confusion.
