it was okay. not too long. normal interview question. applied online. got a call. in person interview. waited 2 days then got an offer and waited i bit longer to start the orientation as they are getting more people.
Group interview and speed questions where it is similar to speed dating. You are given scenarios and you have to communicate how you would solve the issue. Overall it was a relatively easy interview if you have customer service experience.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart (Bentonville, AR) in Oct 2025
Interview
I got an email to set up the phone interview. I had a very pleasant interview with an HR person. I know this position was subordinate to mine in my previous company but was very humble and answered all questions using the STAR method. This is probably the 30th position they've posted that I've applied for in the last few years and its obvious I was just only getting the interview to "fill the roster" for HR. If you're an over 50 experienced executive this is the wrong tree to bark up. The only thing Walmart wants to hire us for is greeters in the stores (if we're lucky). I guess I'll start looking at companies who've already paid out big settlements for age discrimination in hiring.
