What do you think is the most important trait for a communicator?
The most difficult challenge was the exercise they had you do to post ideas on the wall for a brain storm project. Though I loved these in college doing them alone in a board room whilst being in an interview was a little nerve racking being under a time frame. I found myself spending more time on sketches than putting up broad ideas and solutions and questions.
What do you do during your free time?
If you're at a work event where people are sharing their stories about how addiction has impacted their lives and a man approaches you and wants to get coffee and share his story privately, what would you do?
What is your favorite marketing agency company? Who is your favorite industrial designer? What do you think about the lookout website?
I had about 5 rounds of interviews for each role. My final on-site was about 3-4 hours of virtual interviews with a brief break. They asked pretty generic questions like why do you want to work at Wish, communication styles, some soft skill questions, etc. I had to present my design challenge and talk through my thought and design process. The only interview that felt more out of place was that I reviewed another website (that was not a competitor's) and talked through the design of their website. I'm not really sure what the relevancy of this part of the interview process was.
