In the third round, the technical round with the hiring manager. It was more like, talking with your friends about the topic both of you knows and it was good. I had answered almost 70% of the questions. The one thing was, the guy was a 10+ years exp guy and he expects the answer to be worded in his way. Overall, it was good. And I was not the best at the moment because I was nervous and messed a little with the code explanation. That's the only fault. In the end, it was the presentation that failed me. All the questions were only from the resume. The one I failed was where he asked me to explain a snippet which he shows. 2 questions at that. I did the 1st one correct and failed at the 2nd one which was easier. Because of it, I was pushed to second choice.

The recruiter immediately ruled that I meet the requirements of machine learning and programming. But back and forth communication on reference contact despite LinkedIn testimonies and until those are met, they would not submit me! Sounds fishy. And they refused to tell the hiring manager's name or even the title! Scamming job seekers.
