They asked a question about related rates. One of the questions was essentially a recursive algorithm question. One of the questions was a brain teaser about how to complete some task in the shortest number of steps. Overall, the interview felt random, considering that I have a doctorate and they ask me a random Cal 1 question to evaluate my capacity as a researcher.
solve partial differential equations
Standard questions for any seismic data processing role. - Describe the seismic data analysis process - What would you do at each stage? Why? - What are the key parameters for each method such as deconvolution, SRME, Radon, Migration, coherency analysis etc. - Describe in detail the SRME testing process.
Just high school mathematics questions. Eg. how many integers from 1-2000 can be divided by 3 or 4 but not?
I hadn't seen one of the math question and took some time to sole it.
The first one is about probability. The second one is to find the pattern.
Geometric problem to find the third value.
Give three number and ask you to predict the fourth one (geometric sequence)
