There were no unexpected question in my opinion. The job was a business solutions/IT/engineering job which I had 2 years of relevant experience in. Most of the questions where specific to projects I worked on that, coincidentally, ARCADIS did consulting on.

They asked me to assess my seniority level regarding the role needs, technical abilities, clarity and honesty. They asked me how I can transfer my international experience and add value to the team, and how familiar I am with standards and surface water engineering processes.
Describe a challenge you have overcome
One of the tasks of the job was related to my current research. They wanted me to explain how I could integrate what I am currently doing in their model.
1) why do you want to work here? 2) what irritates in work environment?
