Pros

I've been with Johnson Controls for over 16 years. I'm proud to work for a company who puts Safety and Integrity first, not just in policy but also in practice. We work hard to satisfy our customers' expectations and provide great value for the money they spend. I know as long as I do my best work and meet the expectations of my role, I am supported when I need to take off or adjust my work time to take care of family emergencies or attend family events without being made to feel guilty. Couldn't ask for a better place to work. The time off policies and benefit packages are really good.

Cons

I honestly can't think of any negatives to working for this company.

Decent pay, good PTO and benefits

Cons

Everything else. ZERO training. They hand you a laptop (which is garbage) and say good luck. There is no "team." Everyone is on their own. The senior techs all reached their peak 20 years ago and don't even know what BACnet is. The bureaucracy is unbearable. Ordering a simple part is nearly impossible. There are so many apps you have to check in on everyday and they care more about those metrics than they care about the service their customers are receiving. If you want to get your butt kicked everyday with zero support at a company that specializes in taking advantage of their customers, this is the job for you.
