Extreme top-down structure. Upper management controls and decides everything, lower departments do not have a say. Management postpones operational decisions whenever possible; integration with Delta Lloyd is now the first and only priority. Former skilled Delta Lloyd colleagues are frustrated and leaving by the dozens. Whoever can get a job outside of NN does so at the moment. Former job activities have been cancelled or are being ignored. People going home at 3 PM. All the corporate communication does is tell these people "Orange is the new blue". This is how you systematically demotivate people.
