Meta offers impressive compensation, prestige, and name recognition, but those benefits often come with a culture where employees and contractors can be treated as highly disposable assets rather than long-term investments. The company routinely conducts large-scale layoffs involving thousands of people, only to resume hiring shortly afterward. This raises serious questions about workforce planning, employee loyalty, and corporate responsibility. What concerns me most is the impact that leaving Meta can have on a person’s career.
