Pros

- Great benefits and that's all I can think of

Cons

- Management: young managers that try hard to achieve but they are not able to listen, share or receive feedback to grow and improve. A lot of backstabbing, even to the point of bullying employees. - HR: the leader and her team are absolutely worthless. We can not talk to them, share our feedback or concerns and be open. - No work life balance So many more

Pros

- International and diverse colleagues except for upper management. - The product is good enough and the competition are terrible.

Cons

There’s a reason for all the terrible reviews and scores. The. company burn through people and cause burnouts at an alarming rate. There’s lots of promises but in reality, they do everything to keep the salaries and stock options below minimum. Read your contract very very carefully as you probably won’t get most of the benefits they promised. You may get lucky with a stable team, clear product vision, or a decent manager but don’t count on it. The epidemic only accelerated their demise. Product are pressured to give guestimatsions that engineers have to execute or get bad reviews. There’s no product or engineering culture. It’s all sales driven.

Pros

Frankly, I can't think of many. Food and snacks are kind-of nice.

Cons

I'm noticing a lots of red flags in the terms of the culture. The product department seems to lack direction, and works on the whims of sales and marketing department. The product keeps on pushing for the features relevant to the small number of the clients, which brings up maintainability overhead for the engineering department. And then complains about the new features not getting developed sooner. CEO regularly comments employees to leave if they have complaints (don't worry I will soon :)). The monolith code-base and infrastructure is complete mess, and there is not a single architect level engineer to set the future direction to fix these problems.

In a short period of time, TripActions has grown into a bigger company. We continue to grow insanely fast and this puts a lot of pressure on everyone. Our product had to evolve SUPER quickly and with that, we make the best decisions for the time. Since you%E2%80%99ve joined, the company has grown significantly, from ~200 to ~1000, which means there is a lot of responsibility on every employee to make it work. With this type of growth, comes challenges and we have to prioritize and work together to be successful. Despite this fast growth, we are eager to improve and everyone knows -- starting with the founders, we want to listen and are always open to change. We are constantly making changes and evolving our benefits program to match the state of the company to be sure TripActions is company you can thrive. We%E2%80%99d like to talk with you and be sure you can share this feedback with someone you trust. My door is always open to feedback and how we can improve.
