Pros

Direct, hands-on exposure to large enterprise clients. You work on real production-grade AI and data problems, not toy projects, which makes for genuinely strong resume and skill growth. Relatively open to emerging technology. There's room to take ownership and go deep on newer areas like LLMs, multi-agent systems, and AI governance. Big 4 brand and global network carry real weight for future career moves and references. Smart, capable colleagues. Senior staff have strong domain knowledge and client-handling skills you can learn a lot from. Solid infrastructure for professional development — training, certifications, and learning support are well funded.

Cons

Work-life balance varies a lot by project and team. During client deadlines or delivery crunches, long hours become the norm. Compensation is competitive but not top-of-market compared to pure tech or specialized AI firms, especially given the workload. Utilization and staffing pressure can pull you onto projects that aren't aligned with your career interests. Bureaucracy and internal processes can slow things down; getting approvals or resources sometimes takes longer than it should. Career progression, while real, can feel pyramid-shaped and dependent on visibility with the right partners.
