Pros

very strong brand image immense pool of resources knowledge present is stunning, you get to work with world class people strong sense of ethics within the company international presence very high potential for development capable management strong focus on Health and Safety you get to travel a lot good compensation

Cons

Fiercest competition is often coming from another SG business unit (causing loss of profit). Tone between certain BU's often resembles the Cold War, because of stuff that happened years ago. Not professional. Expect a lot of Bureaucracy, the company is very slow to change. Yet, they manage to be very unorganized / uncoordinated in other areas. (resulting in waste of resources) Finance controls the company to the extreme and is sometimes overbearing: you can spend more time on doing reports and working around budget cuts than doing the job you were hired for. The strong ethos and / or politics prevent natural selection of people that do not fit in their job role. Guys that have lost several multi-million projects all on their own even get promoted... IT (Software and policy, not the hardware) is very much outdated as well as fragmented and gets in the way of an efficient workflow. Bad work-life balance (due to personnel budget cuts), 12-14 hours a day for weeks on end sometimes are still not sufficient to get your work done.

Pros

I dont find any Pros even working for 2

Cons

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise potential candidates to carefully consider their options before joining the Breda office. Since 2024, the company has gone through multiple rounds of layoffs, and many employees have been let go during the 2024–2026 period. This has created a sense of instability within the workplace. The executive management has, in my opinion, handled these changes poorly, which has significantly affected employee morale. The work culture can be extremely demanding, with employees often expected to manage a very heavy workload, leading to high levels of stress. During my tenure, I also observed that even long-term employees who had been with the company for 10–12 years were let go. This contributed to a feeling that job security was limited, both for existing staff and for new hires. Additionally, HR appeared to be closely aligned with the layoff strategy, and concerns raised by employees did not seem to be adequately addressed. Overall, the environment felt unstable, and the lack of clear support for employees made the experience challenging. For those seeking long-term stability and a supportive workplace culture, it may be worth exploring other opportunities before considering this office.

Pros

The company leadership genuinely cares about their team and keeps everyone well-informed about the company's latest achievements and vision. They regularly schedule meetings to discuss the company's future direction, and you'll typically receive monthly emails from the international head office to keep you updated on what's happening both internally and externally. I really enjoyed working there.

Cons

the section I was in was somewhat under-organized, and the workflow wasn't always very clear
