Milner Library has entered into a new open access publishing agreement with Elsevier, expanding support for Illinois State University authors. The agreement marks the 13th open access arrangement established by the Milner Library since 2021, adding to existing agreements with publishers such as ACS, Sage, Springer Nature, Taylor & Francis, and Wiley. The three-year agreement, covering the 2026–2028 period, provides waivers for Article Processing Charges (APCs) on 26 articles per year accepted in Elsevier hybrid journals with Illinois State corresponding authors. Eligible authors include Illinois State faculty, staff, and students affiliated with the university.
