I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at ALDI (West Palm Beach, FL) in Nov 2017
Interview
1st round was on campus, pretty standard in regards to other internship interviews. It consisted of informational questions along with behavioral questions. For the second round of interviews it was a full day process. I interviewed with 5 people and had a tour of the warehouse. This round was definitely more difficult, the questions were those you wouldn't normally prepare for. They wanted to catch you off guard.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (Columbus, OH) in Oct 2017
Interview
Aldi was very transparent during the whole interview process that the internship and full time positions at the company was a lot of work, but was rewarding for those willing to put the work in. I applied after meeting a recruiter at a university career fair, and they invited us for a group dinner/informational session about the internship, had us take an online assessment to determine our values and work ethic, did individual interviews, and then took us to the regional headquarters to take a tour of the warehouse, stores, and offices and interviewed again with the regional VP and other company directors. They spent so much time with us to allow us to ask questions that the actual interview didn't seem as important as how engaged we were throughout the process.
