I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (Glasgow, Schotland) in Aug 2019
Interview
1. Online Assesment: 2 tests (1 personality test and 1 scenario based questions), then having to answer 3 questions: why do you want to work for Aldi, tell me of a time you’ve worked as part of a team and how did you contribute to the team’s success and tell me an example when you’ve delivered outstanding customer service and why was it different from your usual customer service?
2. Group assessment: done the interview with 2 other candidates (some people didn’t showed up) the guys interviewing us were 2 area managers very friendly. The first part was to introduce ourselves and explain why we wanted to work for Aldi. Then discuss what we knew about Aldi. Then a math test whith 12 questions and a short time to answer all of them (distinguishing the barcode that matches, adding different numbers 2.83 + 3.53 + 9.99, calculating how much change to give to a customer)
Then a group task on which we had to prioritise what we would do first: cat litter, oil spillage, empty milk shelves and customer asking for information.
Finally if we had any questions. The assessment lasted 45min.
3. Been invited to an individual one to one assessment, haven’t been yet, but it’s only supposed to last 15 min.
4. Store trial
