Interview
Firstly, i applied by linkedIn. After 2-3 weeks i got an e-mail for the skype interview. The manager is directly interviewed and asked about job related technical questions for my current work. Then, after 3 weeks they suggested a trip for me to make face to face interview in Veldhoven. My interview in Veldhoven lasted like 4 hours and i saw 3 people including group leads and manager.

Interview
Well, I received an email from a talent acquisition guy from ASML who asked me to pick a date and time for a 15minute interview via this calendly app hyperlink.
On the interview day, I receive an email at the last moment saying that this person has changed his date. No explanation or anything...just a new calendar date request with Yes or No to select.
On the next interview date, the same thing happens. The recruiter postpones the date to next week and that too at an inconvenient time. I request for an explanation for postponing and suggested changing the interview time as it was a tad too early. Again! No reply just a Calendly notification saying time for interview changed to the afternoon.
Finally, I prepare myself for the third time for this interview...and an hour before the interview I get another Calendly notification saying that the recruiter has Cancelled the interview. No rescheduling..just plainly canceled. I emailed the recruiter again with a more sterner tone (I had been very polite while bearing with all of it). I asked him why had he canceled and whether there was another time that suited him best because I was really interested in the position. But..No reply !
I really really hope that the email finds ASML guys because I am really really infuriated with what happened. I have aspired to work at ASML and one employee's unprofessionalism has left such a sour taste in my mouth. At least have the decency to reply with words.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ASML (Wilton, CT) in Sep 2017
Interview
I got called one day for an impromptu phone interview and I really enjoyed talking to the engineer. He asked basic thought and design questions to see how you think. Then I got scheduled for a second phone interview and this one was way more technical. It was pretty in depth figuring out stresses and best ways to mount and test a cantilever beam. For someone who took the class 4 years ago, it was pretty tough. The reason why I am leaving a negative review is the fact that I went through 2 phone interviews and then radio silence. I tried contacting HR multiple times, but never got a reply. For the number of jobs that they post and the interviews they make you do, I feel like they should at least have the common courtesy of telling you if you were still being considered for the position or not especially when you email them.

Question 1
Cantilever beam. What are the reactionary forces and moments with a load on the end? What's the optimal design shape for the beam? In an I-beam, being held up by 2 bolts on the top, what are the shear forces acting on them? etc.
