Interview
A very long process, lots of paperwork, HR was a little rude and unprofessional, would always cancel scheduled meetings either last minute and completely forgot for more than 3 occasions, salary negotiate was not transparent, final offer was way below initial expected salary

Question 1
What plans and actions would you recommend the department to take?
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Agoda (Bangkok) in Sep 2020
Interview
Good communication from hiring staff and interview arranged promptly. Initial phone call prior to the interview was appreciated and a good touch. There are a series of online tests that you have to do, some of which are quite challenging.

Question 1
Have you ever convinced senior management to change their mind using data?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Agoda (Bangkok) in Jul 2019
Interview
This review is written after 4 weeks after the initiation of the whole interviewing process. I submitted my application via LinkedIn and receive recruitment email overnight. 2 days later, a video call was arrange via BlueJeans with the hiring manager. Nothing much about my experiences was discussed in the call but the manager told me about what this role is all about etc. it lasted slightly lesser than 1 hr. Then I was told to do an online assessment which consists of numerical and verbal reasoning. You guys can search online about these assessment. I think I didn’t do well but 2 days later, received an invitation to fly down to Bangkok for a F2F interview. Accommodation, air tix and 3 meals were covered which is great!
On interview day itself, I was arranged to have F2F meeting with 4 managers plus a team lunch, all in a day. Basically each of the F2F meetings were quite mentally straining because you were given 3- 4 case studies to examine and then to provide your feedbacks and views. I wasn’t prepared for these but nonetheless tried my best to provide my views. In fact I was later told the cases were real life cases which are currently happening within the team. 1 manager was good in articulating the cases but the rest were not. Many times, I don’t even know what they want me to answer/advise and I got to keep questioning and confirming. Actually thinking back, I kind of regretted offering my views because it seems to me that I provided some solutions or advice which they never thought of, talking about free advices. Anyway I didn’t have a chance to share a lot on my background and experiences which is a shame. So it’s 80% case studies and 20% discussion on myself. Some managers will correct my advices which I think is unfair because I don’t even have any idea how Agoda works, so how can I provide answers which match their model answer??
The interviews lasted whole day and by then I was mentally tired. Hiring manager told me that he will get back to me by “next week”. But “next week” came and gone.. no replies, no rejection email, nothing so I kinda guess I’m not selected. Still, will appreciate an email to inform. At this point, I’ve given up hope hence is writing the review now.
My advice? Nothing to prepare, model interview Q&A might not work in Agoda. Just be humble and friendly.. have a mentally strong mind and don’t be intimidated.
