I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Backbase (Amsterdam) in Sep 2021
Interview
Overall process took around 1 month,
1 round: general discussion with HR, like why you are looking for change, introduction ,sal expectations.
2 round: home assessment on codility challenge. 4 tasks will be there... 1 algo question and 1 MCQ (spring), JPA , small rest service.
3. technical round: 1 or 2 devs will be taking interview and questions will be on core java,springboot,microservices,K8 & docker, AWS(a less knowledge also fine), spring security(OAuth),maven
4.manager round: more on the cultural and soft skills , but I had got rejected in this round. According to me everything was going smooth... but seems like hiring manager already liked someone for the position and therefore from starting of interview.. didn't even smiled a single time , he was not friendly and no intro was given and when i asked to tell something about him, i got a reply "Why you wanna know about me" strange but somehow i managed to get his introduction.
Overall it was very good exp other than last manager round. rest all people were very friendly specially HR of backbase is really very cooperative and friendly, sharing my interview process. So that everyone would aware , this may happen to anyone .

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Backbase in Aug 2021
Interview
Firstly I completed a coding problem over the period of about a week. It was easy enough, but gave me an opportunity to show my skill.
They liked my solution so I progressed to the first interview stage where I was interviewed by two senior developers. They asked my technical questions and we looked through my solution to the coding problem I had completed earlier.
I progressed through that interview and progressed to a final interview with the hiring manager. This interview was less of a test of my technical skill and more a test to see if I match the Backbase culture.
I was successful in that interview too therefore I got an offer.
