Question 1
I would say a regular technical questions for such role.
I applied online. I interviewed at Backbase in Jan 2021
Interview
I had a really enjoyable interview process. The recruiter was prompt to respond and very communicative both throughout the interview process and afterwards. In addition, he made himself available both via phone and email.
The interview was broken up into a series of steps:
1) Recruiting screener
2) Take-home assignment demonstrating your abilities
3) Technical interview going over concepts
4) Backbase DNA fit interview
Overall, the questions were challenging, but given the role, I would expect that level of rigor. One thing I appreciated was how applicable the technical assessments were to the job.
Everyone I interviewed with was really professional and personable at the same time. There wasn't a moment in the process where I didn't know what steps to expect next.
