It was very quick and responsive. I strongly recommend the company recruiters as they are very friendly and helpful ( if you have required skills).
It all started with phone screen and then complete panel for interviews.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Cadence Design Systems (Chelmsford, MA) in Jul 2018
Interview
First contacted by the recruiter for general questions and job description details.
After that, there was a phone interview with the manager which had questions from the resume, OOP concepts mainly related to C++ and my previous experiences.
Last was a full day of interviews on-site with different people, some included whiteboard coding and some were generic behavioral questions.
They showed the office and introduced to different people on the team at the end of the interview and I haven't heard from them since just one email stating they have still not decided. Its been more than 2 months now.
The interview was overall good, people were nice and knowledgeable and the questions were good too. They asked me a variety of problems some related to their product design and I was asked how can you handle a particular situation, another was designing a data structure class and the various operations on it as functions, another was to find some errors in a given code.
Mostly practice OOPs concepts and data structures and algorithms for the interview.

Was contacted by a recruiter. Few weeks later another recruiter contacted and scheduled an interview. Interview was very generic and resume based. Interviewer said that I'll be contacted for next steps but it'll take a couple of weeks for them to get back (since they'll be gone on vacation). Followed up with recruiter twice. Recruiter replied the interviewer hadn't given any feedback yet. The third time I follow up, recruiter sends a reject within 10 minutes.
This shows the casual attitude while hiring candidates. I'm sure that the interviewer had forgotten to submit feedback and it was getting embarrassing for the recruiter.
