Very good interview experience.
Was asked questions on resume, past work experience, academic projects and questions related to job description, basic questions on C++ and object-oriented programming. In the end, the interviewer went over my projects on Github and asked me to explain how I had done them.

One telephonic, One onsite (interview with 4 managers) . Telephonic was mostly regarding the compiler knowledge and my projects related stuff. Onsite was with 4 managers. Each one tested the skills in C++ or general coding stuff.

Interview
The people at Cadence got my resume from my university career fair. I was contacted by one of the team members to schedule a phone screen(90 mins). After the phone screen, I got invited to Chelmsford, MA for an onsite interview round (9-4.30). Then, I had 2-3 followup rounds over phone with the hiring manager. The entire process took 6 weeks.

I was asked about projects and experiences on my resume, c/c++ questions, algorithm design questions, circuit design questions, systemverilog questions etc. The interview was a mix of hardware and software oriented questions.
