I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Capgemini Engineering (Lissabon, Lissabon) in Feb 2025
Interview
I went through a lengthy interview process that included a technical interview of around two hours, covering both my background and technical skills, followed by an additional interview with the client.
After several weeks of waiting, the offer presented was significantly below my stated salary expectations. This was disappointing, especially considering that expectations were discussed earlier in the process.
Overall, the process felt inefficient and lacked transparency. The number of interview stages did not align with the final outcome, resulting in a considerable investment of time without a reasonable offer.
I would recommend improving communication around compensation and better aligning expectations earlier in the hiring process.

They are not looking for data science interns, yet they keep asking technical questions in interviews, which creates confusion, wastes candidates time, and shows unclear expectations from the hiring team overall.
