I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Cardinal Health
Interview
Business metrics unit is up and coming. They are basically starting from scratch. Supposed to be three 30 min interviews : one behavioral, one technical, one with the director. The two interviews I had were mostly behavioral even the technical one. They spent a good portion of the time selling the company.
One of my interviews, the manager was very unprofessional. He even said out loud that he reached out to a friend of his at my current company to “scope me”. That crossed a big line for me. When it was also time for me to ask questions he said the ones I posed were “so difficult”, when in reality I was just asking about his experience with the project area. The other interview I had was a lot better but the person interviewing spends more time talking than digging into your background and experience.
In the end they said they wanted someone with more systems experience but they didn’t even ask about that in the interviews ? It’s also not a requirement based on the application. They don’t take you at face value and since they don’t interview well it’s mediocre assessment on your skills. Lots of red flags in my opinion but hopefully this helps those interested in interviewing.

This was a one on one interview with the types of questions you would expect of a business analyst. They asked about IT experience, ability to get past roadblocks and stalled project phases and where I would like to be in five years.
