Deloitte Senior Manager interview questions

The experience with Deloitte was professional and prompt. I started with an initial phone interview and the recruiter was great. Contact between then and the final stage was very good. The in person interview was standard conversation through my CV. I was invited back to a second round but was asked to consider a role 20k lower than my current salary due to not having business development experience despite having many years of industry experience. Whilst I understand this, i didn't feel this was a good start to a new career so rejected. I think consultancies should think about rewarding experienced hires more. The amount of times I've worked with consultants with no industry experience is endless. Think less about the same and more about the value that consultant could bring to a customer - the sales will follow. Overall it was a professional experience but I just wasn't attracted to the offer nor did it make me feel valued.
