I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Epic (Newburgh, IN) in Dec 2022
Interview
I did not get a proper interview at Epic. I applied online for the Quality Managed position, and within a day, I had gotten scheduled a role introduction via zoom. They also had me take an aptitude test. I was told via email that my camera would be turned off and there would be a Q&A at the end for any questions I had. Whenever I got on the zoom call with a current Quality Manager, they presented a PowerPoint presentation to me. The only time I got to speak was at the Q&A where I asked 2 questions. I never once received a phone screening, which I thought that that was strange. They never asked me any questions about my resume. After the role introduction, they scheduled my assessments. After that, I emailed Epic and asked about what a typical application process was and why I never received a proper interview, and they dodged that question. I waited 8 days for a response back. Yesterday, I received a rejection email from them. I do feel that the process was unfair, and that they were stringing me along. I’m an English major, however, on their website it says they consider all backgrounds. I feel that that’s not necessarily true considering they didn’t even allow me to have an interview with them and talk about my academic background. Others reviews I have seen online have said that they all received a phone screening. I do feel that they weren’t ever interested in me as a candidate, and the company should’ve honest from the beginning.

Interview
I never got an actual interview with Epic. I applied online and then within less than a day, they scheduled a role introduction on zoom. In this introduction, I was by myself and the camera was off. It was just to learn the about the job role. The only time I spoke was at the end of the PowerPoint presentation to ask them questions. After that, they scheduled my assessments. I was never given a phone interview, nor did they ask me any questions about my resume. I waited about 8 days for a rejection from them. This process was entirely different from others experiences for the same position, including my significant other’s. I do feel that they strung me along as they never gave me the opportunity to talk to them or have an actual phone interview. I asked the recruiter if he knew why my experience was different and he dodged the question entirely. I’m an English major, and they do consider all backgrounds, but I felt like they didn’t take me seriously.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
None; it was only difficult because they didn’t actually interview me. If they weren’t interested, they shouldn’t have dragged me along considering they didn’t give me a fair opportunity. I’m very disappointed in this company, especially considering my significant other and I are moving to Madison for them. Highly unprofessional.
A few tests; interview was mostly going over company values and then giving a short 10 minute presentation. The tests were difficult, but in a logic way more than hard math.
