I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at FDM Group (Toronto, ON) in Sep 2018
Interview
Interviewer called 20 minutes later after the scheduled phone interview, quizzed me on things that were not part of the job description, chewed me out for "not knowing enough about the company" despite giving me no new information except that training is 16 weeks long. Incredibly awkward interactions every time. Passed their logic and video interview. Then calls telling me, "how do you think it went?" before letting me know I passed the previous stage and now they would like an on-site interview from 8;45 to 2;30 while I am in another city. No offer for traveling expenses.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
20-21 Multiple choice question to see if you can follow logic. No specific language.
Video interview asking generic questions like, 'What would you do if you were behind in a project' 'what would you do if someone else knew more about the project you are working on'
Phone interview asked stuff like, "what does Final do in Java", "What are the differences between an inner and outer join", "difference between public and static", "how does polymorphism work in Java"
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FDM Group (Toronto, ON) in Sep 2018
Interview
The interview process was quick and overall a good experience.
1) After applying through the website, I was contacted by one of their recruiters. Within the week we set up a 10 min phone interview that covered basic personality and technical questions.
2) A few days after the phone interview, I was contacted by the same recruiter and told I was accepted to the next round of interview. This round was comprised of a pre-recorded Q&A session (was a little odd at first but they provide lots of opportunity to practice) and an aptitude test (basic math and logic questions).
3) Finally, my recruiter told me that I was invited to the final Interview Day located at the FDM office. This ended up being alot of fun! They provide food and coffee (it starts around 9am), and they give you a quick presentation about the overall experience you will have at FDM. Over the course of the day you will complete 2 10-15min interviews (one technical and one behavioral) and 2 ability quizzes (one reading comprehension and one logic).
4) Within 3 days of the Interview Day, they contacted me with an offer and some really great feed back!

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at FDM Group
Interview
Brief. 3 week process I would say. They emailed me, then set up a phone interview. Everything was smooth after that. They sent me a test after with a video interview to follow.
