I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at FedEx (Memphis, TN) in Mar 2012
Interview
I was asked why did I apply for the job. And I was also drug screened and finger printed also. The process took at least 4 hours. There also was a second part of the interview you have to watch a couple videos for the training to get a better understanding of the job you applied for.
I applied online. I interviewed at FedEx (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
Pretty simple just a quick yes no 6 question phone interview, you just gotta pass the background check and urine test and i would recommend having your license in good standing just so you'll have more options for job duties.

Question 1
Are you willing to work from the hours of 3am-11am?
I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at FedEx (Orlando, FL) in Oct 2011
Interview
From the time I first applied online to the VERY first day I worked, it took approximately six months. There are a few steps in the process (please note that this applies to me only...as I have read in other reviews, some locations require a 'sort orientation').
1) Filled out an online application.
2) Filled out extensive paper-work, in-person, at a local recruitment center.
3) Interviewed with two FedEx managers.
4) Submitted paperwork for a background check and completed a drug test.
5) Attended an orientation session at FedEx.
6) First day of employment!
As stated above, the entire process took approximately six months. If you apply and don't hear back from someone for a few weeks (or months, as was my experience) don't get discouraged!
